Beef and Bacon



I can never quite get bacon-wrapped fillets to work out. I either burn the bacon or it doesn't get cooked at all. So instead...



Sear fillets in bacon fat....



Finish in hot oven...



Get some mushrooms going in the same pan...



Make a nice mushroom sauce...



And put the steak on top of the bacon. Bacon-bottomed fillet.
