Purple cauliflower

Now that's something. There was also orange cauliflower at the market. Maybe next week.

And this is an heirloom chicken. That means "small, bony chicken" in French. What makes it an heirloom chicken? It's small and bony..and it was $6.99 a pound instead of $2.99 a pound. Also, I hate to admit it, but it was a whole lot better than a $2.99 a pound chicken. (But small and bony.)

And the cauliflower was very good. Tasted just like cauliflower. Only it was purple.
