Excellent carrots

Braised short ribs, smashed red potatoes and carrots. Cut up, boiled for just a couple of minutes, drained. Add honey and cognac, cook until syrupy. Add fresh basil. Excellent carrots.


  1. Jeff: Those carrots look wonderful. How much honey & cognac (since I have not cooked with cognac is there a type?). I have decided that I am too old to not ask questions if I want to learn or do something new.
