Chocolate banana raisin rum tart



Golden raisins. Soaked in dark rum for a couple of hours.



A frozen pie crust. I have no pastry skills at all.



Thawed and jammed into a tart pan.



Two bananas, cut up.



And caramelized in butter with a bit of sugar.




A half block of chocolate...



Melted...with a half stick of butter.



An egg...and two egg yolks. With some sugar.



Cooled chocolate mixed in.



Pre-baked pie crust, topped with bananas and raisins.



And chocolate poured over. Baked for 10 minutes. Cooled.

  1. thawed and jammed in to a tart pan? Hahahahahaaa...that cracked me up! maybe go with the pillsbury fold up crust next time? just a thought. looks good.
