The contractor

A recommendation from friend (and Realtor) Jeff Tanck led us to Miguel Rubiano and his company, Washingtonian Restoration. We need somebody who knows The District (suburban contractors hate doing work in the city) and who knows old buildings (crooked plaster walls, old plumbing and wiring, coop boards, etc.)

We inspected some of his work and were very impressed. Miguel did some work at the nearby Chastleton, an apartment building that recently went condo. (Some of the renovations in that building are horrible, but his work looked fantastic.)

We like his bid. We like his ideas. He seems to like us.
