Spicy, crunchy Chick Pea snack
I saw this on Food Network Saturday morning, and was eating them in my own house a couple of hours later.
Two cans of Chick Peas. One labeled 'premium,' the other labeled 'prime premium.' I don't know what the difference is. Same price.
Drained....
Then dried off.
Two tablespoons of olive oil, one teaspoon of smoked paprika, one teaspoon of cumin, mixed up.
Chick peas mixed into the oil so all are covered...
Then spread out in a single layer on some parchment paper...
And roasted at 400 degrees for about a half an hour. Then some salt as soon as they come out of the oven.
Spicy, salty, Chick Peas. Mine turned out crunchy outside, but chewy in the middle. Not sure if that's right. Roasted longer, they may get crunchy all the way through. Even this way: Addictive!
